2010 Season Information

Welcome to all,

On behalf of myself and the entire LGS Board of Directors , we would like to welcome you to another exciting and action packed season of girls softball.

Continuing for this year, our messaging system. The manager or coach, either through text and / or e-mail alerts will notify you of schedule changes in games / practices (EX: cancellations due to inclement weather or changing practice times or days, etc.) **Please note that the alerts will be done in a timely manner whenever possible, but under certain circumstances the alerts might be delayed because of unforseen problems like a sudden drastic weather change as an example.**  

We look forward to seeing returning players as well as new players. We welcome girls of all skill levels. Both residents and non-residents welcome.

Our Bantam teams all the way up to our 18-U teams offer great games and excitement, from our bantam girl fielding a ground ball, to our jr-advance player saving the game with a strikeout,  to our 18 yr old driving in the winning run. It’s exciting when players and fans exhibit their emotions, whether cheering for their own team or experiencing the opposing team make good plays. “The Players and Fans are what makes the game of softball a great sport”.   

Our Softball Program is committed to providing a safe and fun-filled experience, from teaching the fundamentals of the game to expressing and exhibiting the values of teamwork, fairplay, and sportsmanship.

Our all Volunteer League Board have over 60 years of combined and dedicated service in striving to provide a good quality program for the Village of Lansing and all its participants.
