EXTRA INNININGS:

Treat ANY inning pitched during the normal 6 innings or any extra innings under the same rules listed below.

TOURNAMENT PITCHING RULES

1.     11 Year Old pitchers are limited to pitching a COMBINED 2 innings PER game.

2.     A 4 (four) “rolling” inning rule is in effect for ALL 11 year old pitchers. This means that a team may only pitch an 11 year old 4 consecutive innings (maximum combined 2 innings per game) and then MUST give that pitcher 1 (one) game rest.

3.     A 6 (six) “rolling” inning rule is in effect for ALL 10 year old pitchers. This means that a team may only pitch a 10 year old 6 consecutive innings and then MUST give that pitcher 1 (one) game rest. There are no per game inning limit on 10 year old pitchers.

4.     There are no pitching rule restrictions for 9 year old pitchers. A team is not required to pitch a 9 year old during the tournament. If a 9 year old does pitch he is governed by the 10 year old pitching rules.

Pitcher “A” (11 year old) pitches 2 innings in his teams first game.
The SAME PITCHER is eligible to pitch 1 or 2 innings in his teams second game.

Pitcher “A” is then eligible to pitch in the next game with 4 more “rolling” innings.

EXAMPLE B:
Pitcher “B” (11 year old) pitches 2 innings in his teams first game.

The SAME PITCHER pitches 2 innings in his teams second game. This Pitcher/Player (Pitcher “B”) MUST take the next game off and is then eligible to pitch in the next game with 4 more “rolling” innings.

The SAME PITCHER pitches 1 inning in his teams third game.
The SAME PITCHER pitches 1 inning in his teams fourth game.
This Pitcher/Player (Pitcher “C”) MUST take the next game off and is then eligible to pitch in the next game with 4 more “rolling” innings.

EXAMPLE D:

Pitcher “D” (9 or 10 year old) pitches 3 innings in his teams first game.
The SAME PITCHER  pitches 3 innings in his teams second game.
This Pitcher/Player (Pitcher “D”) has pitched 6 “rolling” innings and must rest 1 game.
