CATEGORIES AND AWARDED ON A POINT
SYSTEM
| CATEGORY 1 Qualification
will be a point total of 35-50 The amount of the award will be $1,000.00. There will be 2 awards presented to this category. If a category 1 qualifier is not selected they will be also eligible for the Category 2 Award |
| CATEGORY 2 Qualification
will be a point total of 20-34 The amount of the award will be $500.00. There will be 4 awards presented to this category. |
2 Points for each year
student participates in a Lansing Old Timers
program with a maximum of 22 points.
1 Point for each sport per
year student participates in High School with a maximum of 12 points.
1 Point for each year a parent participates as a coach, manager, board member or Lansing Old Timers member in good standing with a maximum of 6 points.
| Grade Point Average of 3.50 or above earns the student 10 points |
| Grade Point Average of 3.25 to 3.49 earns the student 5 points |
| Grade Point Average of 3.00 to 3.24 earns the student 3 points |
Maximum number of points that can be attained is 50
|
The scholarship will be divided into two categories. The first category will have one female and one male recipient, and the second category will have two females and two male recipients. |
